Sally Mann - powerful photographer or perverted poser?

my vote: powerful photographer 

Sally Mann, a photographer working primarily in Lexington,Virginia gained fame and controversy when she began photographing her children nude. Critics couldn't decide whether her work was genius or perverted. Some accused her of child pornography. Her photographs showed her children in many innocent situations such as wetting the bed, playing dress up and blowing bubbles. Yet, controversy arose when the children began posing in more provocative poses such as holding a candy cigarette or heavily made up. 

 Yet, her images capture such an innate and realistic snapshot of childhood innocence and purity, that her originality and talent cannot be disputed.
